Short answer: there is no single best courier service in Pakistan for every online store. The best one for you is the courier that delivers reliably to the cities your orders come from, pays your cash on delivery (COD) money quickly, handles returns honestly and connects to your Shopify or WooCommerce store. For most stores that means opening accounts with two couriers, such as TCS, Leopards, M&P, PostEx or Trax, and comparing them on real orders.
We set up couriers on every ecommerce website we build, so we see how each COD courier performs from the store owner’s side: bookings, tracking, returns and payouts. This guide compares the main courier services in Pakistan, explains what to look for in a courier service for online business, and shows you how to work out which is the best courier service in Pakistan for your own orders.
Chapter 01
How a COD Courier Works for an Online Store
Most online orders in Pakistan are still paid in cash at the door. A COD courier does two jobs for you: it delivers the parcel, and it collects the money and pays it back to you. The flow looks like this:
- Order placed: the customer checks out on your store and picks cash on delivery.
- Booking: you (or an app) book the parcel with the courier. You get a tracking number and print the airway bill, the label with the customer’s address, phone and COD amount.
- Pickup: a rider collects the parcels from you, or you drop them at the courier’s centre.
- Delivery: the courier delivers and collects the COD amount from the customer.
- Payout: the courier sends the collected cash to your bank account, minus its delivery charges and any deductions.
- Return (if refused): the parcel comes back to you, usually with a return charge.
Steps 5 and 6 are where courier services differ the most, and they matter more to your profit than the delivery fee itself.

Chapter 02
Courier Services in Pakistan Compared
These are the courier services in Pakistan that online stores use most. Each one sells COD delivery to businesses; the table sums up what each courier says about itself and how it connects to your store, not a ranking.
| Courier | What it offers online stores | Store integration |
|---|---|---|
| TCS | One of the oldest networks (it started in 1983) with 1,000+ Express Centres, COD and e-com solutions | Official TCS app on the Shopify App Store; APIs on its developer portal; WooCommerce plugins |
| Leopards Courier | Nationwide COD delivery with an e-commerce merchant portal; also operates in the UAE | Several Leopards apps on the Shopify App Store; WooCommerce plugins |
| M&P | COD and corporate accounts, plus warehousing and storage | M&P Courier app on the Shopify App Store |
| PostEx | COD delivery built for e-commerce, with upfront payments on COD orders and business financing | Official PostEx app on the Shopify App Store |
| Trax (SLG Trax) | 10,000+ e-commerce merchants, 160+ towns and cities, plus warehousing | Shopify apps and multi-courier apps |
| Call Courier, BlueEx and others | COD delivery for smaller and growing stores | Mostly through multi-courier apps or the courier’s portal |
Rates are not in the table on purpose. Every courier prices per merchant, based on your monthly volume, parcel weight and destinations, and the rate card you get can be very different from what another store pays. Ask each courier for a written rate card for your own business.
Pro tip: the courier with the biggest brand isn’t automatically the best courier service in Pakistan for your store. A smaller courier with a strong network in your top three cities can beat it on delivery rate.
Chapter 03
How to Choose the Best Courier Service in Pakistan
A courier service for online business is judged on different things than a courier you use once to send documents. Compare couriers on these six things, in this order:
- Delivery rate in your cities. What share of parcels actually gets delivered, not returned. This is the number that decides your profit.
- COD payout speed. How many days after delivery the cash reaches your bank. Faster payouts mean you can restock without running out of cash.
- Return charges and return speed. What you pay for a refused parcel, and how long it takes to come back so you can sell it again.
- Coverage. Whether the courier delivers to smaller towns your customers live in, or hands them to a partner.
- Integration. Whether you can book from your store in bulk, or have to type every order into a portal.
- Support. Whether you get a named account manager when parcels go missing.

You only find the answers to 1, 2 and 3 on your own orders. That’s why we suggest starting with two couriers for a month and comparing them side by side.
Chapter 04
What a Parcel Really Costs
When you compare a COD courier on price, look at everything that comes out of your payout, not just the delivery fee. A typical COD parcel cost has these parts:
| Charge | What it is | Ask the courier |
|---|---|---|
| Delivery fee | Based on weight and zone (same city, nearby city, rest of the country) | The rate for your usual parcel weight in each zone |
| COD handling | A fee or percentage for collecting the cash | Is it a flat fee or a % of the order value? |
| Taxes | Sales tax on the service, and tax withheld from your payout | Which taxes are deducted, and will you get a certificate? |
| Return charge | What you pay when a customer refuses the parcel | Is it the full delivery fee, half, or free? |
| Extras | Packaging, fuel surcharge, insurance, extra weight | A full written rate card with every surcharge |
Shopify apps that reconcile COD payouts show this clearly: the cash collected, the courier’s cut, and the net amount that actually reaches your bank.

Chapter 05
The Cheapest Courier Services in Pakistan Aren’t Always the Cheapest
Store owners often search for the cheapest courier services in Pakistan and pick the lowest delivery fee. But a COD courier that charges PKR 20 less per parcel and delivers 5% fewer orders costs you more, because every returned parcel means a lost sale, a return charge and the product stuck in transit for a week or two.
To compare fairly, work out your cost per delivered order:
- Add up everything you paid the courier in a month (delivery, COD fees, returns, taxes).
- Divide it by the number of parcels that were actually delivered.
The courier with the lowest cost per delivered order is the cheapest for you, whatever its rate card says. Among the cheapest courier services in Pakistan, the ones worth keeping are those with a good delivery rate in your cities.
Chapter 06
Opening a COD Account
To get a COD account (not walk-in rates), you apply as a business. Couriers ask for roughly the same things. M&P’s account form, for example, asks for your name, company, CNIC, NTN, city, address, mobile, email, account type (COD or corporate) and the number of shipments per month. Have these ready:
- Your CNIC (and NTN if you have one; some couriers need it for tax deductions).
- A bank account in your or your business’s name, for COD payouts.
- Your store link and the products you sell.
- Expected parcels per month. Volume is what gets you better rates, so be realistic but don’t undersell it.
- Your pickup address, or the centre you’ll drop parcels at.
Most couriers have an online form or a sales number on their website: PostEx, M&P and TCS all have business sign-up pages. Ask for the rate card, the payout schedule and the return policy in writing before your first booking.
Chapter 07
Connecting the Courier to Shopify or WooCommerce
Typing every order into a courier portal works for five orders a day. After that, connect the courier to your store so you can book, print labels and track in bulk.
On Shopify, most couriers have an app: PostEx and TCS have official apps, and Leopards, M&P and Trax have apps from their own teams or partners (see the PostEx app on the Shopify App Store). Multi-courier apps let you book with any courier from one screen and switch between them per order.

On WooCommerce, look for a plugin for your courier on WordPress.org or from the courier itself. A good plugin adds a shipment box to each order where you book the parcel, print the label and see the tracking status.

Chapter 08
Cutting Returns Before the Parcel Leaves
Refused COD orders are the biggest hidden cost of selling online in Pakistan. Most of them can be stopped before you book the parcel:
- Confirm every COD order by WhatsApp or a call before booking. Customers who don’t confirm are the ones most likely to refuse.
- Make the phone number required at checkout, and check it looks like a real Pakistani mobile number.
- Check the address: the city, area and a landmark. Riders return parcels they can’t find.
- Show delivery time and charges on the product page and at checkout, so there are no surprises at the door.
- Offer a small discount for prepaid orders through a payment gateway. Our payment gateway in Pakistan guide compares the options.

Chapter 09
Why Many Stores Use Two Couriers
Once you ship more than a few dozen parcels a day, one courier is a risk. If its network slows down before Eid or a city hub gets backed up, all your orders wait. Many stores use two:
- A main courier for most orders, chosen on delivery rate and payout speed.
- A second courier for cities where the first one is weak, for heavy parcels, or as a backup during peaks.
Review the split every month. If the second courier is beating the first in a city, move that city over. This is how you keep using the best courier service in Pakistan for each city, not just the one you signed up with first.
Chapter 10
Tracking, Payouts and a Weekly Check
Couriers make mistakes, and the money side is where they cost you most. Once a week, spend 30 minutes on these checks:
- Stuck parcels: any parcel with no movement for four or five days. Chase it before the customer gives up.
- Returns in transit: parcels marked returned that haven’t reached you yet.
- Payout reconciliation: match every delivered COD order against the courier’s payment report. Mark anything delivered but unpaid.
- Customer updates: send tracking links by WhatsApp or SMS, so customers know when the rider is coming.

Your courier’s portal shows most of this. Shopify and WooCommerce apps that pull tracking from all your couriers into one place save time once you use more than one.
Chapter 11
Is There One Best Courier Service in Pakistan?
No, and anyone who names one without asking about your orders is guessing. The best courier service in Pakistan for a Karachi fashion brand shipping across Sindh and Punjab may be different from the best one for a Lahore electronics store shipping to smaller towns in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
What works for most new stores:
- Open COD accounts with two couriers from the table above.
- Connect both to your store.
- Split your orders for a month and track delivery rate, payout days and cost per delivered order.
- Keep the better one as your main courier, and the other as backup.
That month of data is worth more than any ranking, including this one. If you also want a store built for Pakistani buyers from the start, see how we handle payments and couriers in our Shopify in Pakistan guide.
Chapter 12
How We Set Up Couriers on the Stores We Build
Website Services Pakistan (WSP) builds Shopify and WooCommerce stores from Tariq Road, Karachi, and we’ve built 450+ websites since 2014. On every store we:
- Set shipping zones and rates that match your courier’s rate card.
- Install and test the courier app or plugin, including bulk booking and label printing.
- Make the phone number required and set up COD order confirmation.
- Add tracking links to your order emails and WhatsApp messages.
- Test a real order end to end before launch.
We don’t sell courier accounts or take a cut from any courier, so we’ll tell you honestly which setup fits your orders. Our prices are PKR 35,000–95,000 for a business or WordPress website and PKR 40,000–140,000 for a WooCommerce or Shopify store, while custom portals are quoted on your requirements, with no advance payment. See our Shopify development services or ecommerce website development for details.
FAQ
FAQ
Which is the best courier service in Pakistan for an online store?
There is no single best courier for every store. Compare TCS, Leopards, M&P, PostEx and Trax on delivery rate in your cities, COD payout speed, return charges and store integration. Most stores start with two couriers and keep the one that performs better on their own orders.
Which are the cheapest courier services in Pakistan?
Courier rates are agreed per merchant, based on volume, weight and destinations, so ask each courier for a written rate card. Compare them on cost per delivered order, not delivery fee alone, because returns and COD charges change the real cost.
What should I look for in a courier service for online business?
Delivery rate in the cities your orders come from, how fast COD money reaches your bank, return charges, coverage of smaller towns, a Shopify app or WooCommerce plugin for bulk booking, and a named account manager.
What is a COD courier?
A COD (cash on delivery) courier delivers your parcel, collects the payment from the customer at the door and transfers the money to your bank account, minus its charges.
What documents do I need for a courier COD account?
Usually your CNIC, a bank account for payouts, your business details and expected monthly parcels. Some couriers also ask for an NTN.
Can I connect a courier to my Shopify store?
Yes. PostEx and TCS have official Shopify apps, and Leopards, M&P and Trax have apps from their own teams or partners. Multi-courier apps let you book with several couriers from one screen.
How do I reduce COD returns?
Confirm every COD order by WhatsApp or a call before booking, require a valid phone number, check the address and show delivery charges clearly at checkout. A small discount for prepaid orders also helps.
